Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at the Royal, the culinary experience was a highlight. The restaurant's ambiance set an inviting stage for an explorative three-course dinner, showcasing international flavors influenced by culinary traditions from Ireland, America, and Asia. I particularly appreciated the seasonal menu, where every dish was prepared to order by attentive chefs. As a marine biologist passionate about sustainability, I found the emphasis on fresh, local ingredients commendable. Accompanied by a chosen glass of wine, each course felt like a carefully curated journey through diverse tastes. The hotel's central location provided easy access to local attractions and a lively bar featuring performances from local bands. The Royal offered a blend of flavors and experiences, making it a noteworthy culinary getaway.
